Tad E Thompson

Tad Thomson, 55, of Jamestown, ND, passed away at his home Friday afternoon, December 17, 2021.

Tad was born April 12, 1966, the son of Arlys and Lona (Erdahl) Thompson.  Lona later married Ernest David Haas and Tad was raised by them in Jamestown where he graduated from high school in 1984.   He attended Pipestone Vocational Tech. in 1996 and learned the trade of meat cutting and processing.  Tad worked for Maverick Meats and the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown, among other jobs like Pizza Corner in Valley City.  He also was a custodian for the N.D. Dept. of Transportation tending to rest areas along the interstate.  Tad enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and other sports, camping, and his dogs, especially Larry.

Tad is survived by Sheila Corwin; step brother, Tom Haas; step-sisters, Dawn Marie Haas, Lori Wahlstrom, Shawn Munson, and Angela Wenzel; and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside Service - 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at James Valley Cemetery, Ypsilanti, ND.
