Terrence Albrecht

Terrence Lee Albrecht, 63, Jamestown, ND passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center under hospice care and surrounded by his family.

Terry was born April 20, 1950 in Jamestown, the son of Papa Joe and Grace Albrecht. He grew up in Jamestown. Terry married Nancy Hendrickson on November 13, 1968. They moved to Monterey, CA for two years while Terry served in the US Navy. They returned to Jamestown in 1971 and have resided here since. Terry worked many jobs, but for 25 years he was employed as a power operator at the ND State Hospital, retiring in April 2012.

Terry enjoyed making things, creating amazing items out of "junk", cooking for his wife, killing spiders for his granddaughter, Jessie, watching western and Sci-Fi stations with his grandkids and then returning the favor with Sponge Bob and all the other cartoons, camping and hunting.

Terry is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Teresa (Dan), Cheri (Jason) and Katie, all of Jamestown; grandchildren, Matt of Williston, Shayna of Fargo, Missy, Terry, Alyssa, Jessie, Michaela, Heather, Nicolas, Justin and Aleeah, all of Jamestown; two great-grandchildren, SkyeAnne and Robert, Jr.; father, Papa Joe; brothers and sisters, Butch (Nancy), of Lincoln, Mike of Jamestown, Tony (Linda) of Courtenay, Barb (Tony) of Jamestown, Mark (Amy), of South Carolina and Lynn (Jerome), of Spiritwood; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, mother-in-law and grandparents.
