Terry Taxis

Terry Taxis, 60, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Wednesday evening, July 26, 2017 at his home.

Terry was born January 7, 1957 in Linton, the son of DeLonce “Tootor” and Mary Sue (Self) Taxis. The family moved to Jamestown where he graduated from Jamestown High School. He was employed by Mini Mart as a manager and trainer for many years until his medical retirement in 1999. Terry had a real passion for golf and enjoyed bowling, reading books, and stock car races.

Terry is survived by four brothers, Keith (Leah) Taxis, Edgeley, ND, Larry Taxis, Fargo, ND, Jerry (Joan) Taxis, Jamestown, and Timothy Taxis, Jamestown; many nieces and nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Matt Zimmer officiating.

Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
