Theodore M. Bear

Theodore M. ""Ted"" Bear, 46, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND.

Ted was born October 19, 1959 in Jamestown, the son of Mark L. and Helen M. (Jaskier) Bear. He graduated from Buchanan High School. Ted was a truck driver for Pizza Corner.

Ted loved to travel and had traveled to 11 countries. He enjoyed watching his niece, Kristin, play basketball, especially with the University of Mary Marauders and camping with his nephew, Dave. He loved music, going to concerts, but especially Rosanna's concerts, listening to CD's and he took great pride in his CD collection. A favorite pastime of Ted's was cooking and he loved to try new food, especially hot and spicy foods. One of his greatest prides was restoring his 1984 GMC.

Above all else, Ted enjoyed family get togethers; graduations, weddings, summer barbeques and being able to spend time with his siblings, nieces and nephews.

Ted is survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Vicki and John Soma, Jamestown and Gwen Bear, Bismarck; three nieces, Helinda Soma, Mankato, MN, Kristin Bear, Bismarck and Rosanna Dewald, Jamestown and three nephews, John, Jr. (Karen) Soma, Jamestown, Dave Bear, Minneapolis, MN and Mark Dewald, Jamestown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, April 17, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home Chapel, Jamestown with Rev. Kathleen Heller officiating.

Visitation: 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Monday, April 17, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota
