Timothy Michael Klose, our brave and strong husband, dad, and hero; died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND. Timothy was born April 27, 1954 to Joseph and Mary (Toay) Klose in Jamestown, ND. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1972. He married the love of his life, JoAnn Steckler, on June 20, 1975 in Jamestown. They farmed south of Jamestown until 2000. He attended North Dakota State University and received his Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering. He worked for Interstate Engineering up until 2009.
He enjoyed tinkering in his work shops and spending time with family and grandchildren.
He loved his best friend, Loki and many other special pets. He was a very generous and caring person. He was active at the JRMC Rehabilitation exercise facility and sometimes volunteered there. He overcame many obstacles, lived a good life, and always had a smile on his face.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, Jamestown; daughter, Arian Klose (Adam Koenig), Rochester, MN; son, Tyler (Nicole), Moorhead, MN.; three grandchildren, Anders, Helena, and Esten Klose; brother, Leo Klose, three sisters, Mary O'Hagen, Kathy Spiegel, and Jane Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother (Gary). He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Fraternal Order of Eagles, in Jamestown.
We will celebrate him during a Memorial Service; 10:30 AM. Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Eddy Funeral Chapel with Deacon Tom Geffre.
No visitation is scheduled.
