Tiny Jorgenson

Tiny Jorgenson, 81, Jamestown, North Dakota died Monday, August 10, 2009 at her home in Jamestown after a long battle with cancer.

Tiny Walsh was born February 18, 1928 in Jamestown, the daughter of Wilfred and Myrtle (Reese) Walsh. She was the first baby baptized at St. Margarets Church in Buchanan, ND. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1946. Tiny worked for Jamestown Hospital for 31 years.

Tiny enjoyed writing poetry and sharing it with family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and squirrels in her yard, reading and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan.

Tiny is survived by five sons, Mark (Judy) Joslin, Rainier, WA, Jay Joslin, Seattle, WA, Scott Joslin, Spring, TX, Kit Joslin, Jamestown and Eric (Kristine) Jorgenson, Fargo, ND; one daughter, Teresa (David) Ryan, Snohomish, WA; nine grandchildren, Khalsa, Holly, Sarah, Ian, Melissa, Aimee, Hope, Amanda and Nels; two great-grandchildren, Jonah and Hazel; and one brother, Gerald (Billy) Walsh, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred Walsh and Myrtle Sharp; one brother, Edward Walsh; and one sister, Betty Joslin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Jamestown Hospital Foundation in Tiny's name.

Funeral Mass: 1:30 PM, Friday, August 14, 2009 at the St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Home.

Vigil: 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
