Troy Lee Thomas

Troy Lee Thomas, Jr., 70, passed away peacefully in his sleep on his 70th birthday, Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in his home in Jamestown, ND.

Troy was born to Troy Lee Thomas and Betty Jean Giddings on December 13, 1952 in Wichita, KS.  He served in the US Army and also served in the National Guard.

Troy worked in various jobs across the country.  In 2010, Troy started working for RTS Shearing.  During that time Troy was an equipment operator and a magnet guru.  This employment took him across the Midwest from Texas to North Dakota.  He was a hard worker and you could always count on him to show up.  Troy developed many friendships with his co-workers at RTS Shearing and Scherbenske Inc.

He enjoyed being outdoors especially fishing.  Troy also enjoyed playing guitar and he was a master storyteller.

Troy is survived by multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins and all of his friends at RTS Shearing and Scherbenske Inc.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Kristina Dumler and Patricia Anderson.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 23, 2022 at Eddy Funeral Home.
