Venice Krenz

September 20, 1933 — February 16, 2003

Venice Krenz, 69, of Woodworth, ND died Sunday, February 16, 2003 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND.

Venice was born September 20, 1933 in near Woodworth, ND the daughter of Leonard and Emma (Koenig) Fish. She received her education in rural Woodworth school and was a life-long resident of Woodworth.

She married Harry Krenz at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Woodworth on March 24, 1950. After their marriage they made their home with Harry's parents until 1952. They lived and farmed southeast of Woodworth, North Dakota all their lives. Harry passed away on July 9, 1996.

Venice has been an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Woodworth, ND. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas with her friends. She was an avid softball fan. Her hobbies included gardening, flowers, baking and cooking, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four sons, Harry J. ""Jim"" (Oley) Krenz, Jamestown, ND; Ronald (Sherry) Krenz, Woodworth, ND; Todd (Karen) Krenz of Jamestown, ND; Jason Krenz, Woodworth, ND; a daughter, Sherry ( Jerry) Lervik, Bottineau, ND; eight grandchildren, Crystal (Chad) Hakanson, Tyler Krenz, Adam & Alexander Krenz, Jill & Ryan Lervik, Tanner & Colton Krenz and a special niece, LouAnn.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sisters.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. - Thursday, February 20, 2003 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Woodworth, North Dakota with Rev. Mark Schlamann officiating.

Prayer Service: 8:00 p.m. - Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, North Dakota

Visitation: Wednesday, February 19, 2003 1:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Burial; Gem Cemetery: Woodworth, North Dakota
