Vernon Hendrickson

Vernon Hendrickson, 70, of Mandan, ND, died Friday, November 8, 2013 at Aneta Parkview Health Center, Aneta, ND.

Vernon Hendrickson was born on August 1, 1943, the son of Henry and Frances (Gustin) Hendrickson. He grew up on the family farm south of Mandan. He served in the US Army from 1960-1963. Vernon married Edna Schafer in 1965 in Flasher, ND. He drove truck his entire career, retiring in 2005.

Vernon is survived by four children, Kim (Terry) Morast, Bismarck, ND, Mark (Christina) Hendrickson, Layton, Utah, Brian (Kim) Hendrickson, Minot, ND, and Sonya (Steve) Wald, Mandan, ND; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Tillie (Jerome) Weisbeck, Bernice (John) Pudwill, and Linda Sobolewski.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Weisbeck; father, Henry Hendrickson; and step-father, Edward Weisbeck.

Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2013 at Union Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
