Vernon Klostreich

Vern W. Klostreich, 74, of Batavia, NY, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Strong Memorial Medical Center, Batavia, NY.
Vernon William Klostreich was born on October 23, 1939, in Billings, MT, the son of Edwin C. and Catherine (McGruder) Klostreich. He received his education in Medina Public School and attended Molar Barber College in Fargo, ND. Vern barbered for many years in Montana, then became a self-employed carpenter and worked in many states.
Vern is survived by a special friend, Julia Dzierzanowski, Batavia, NY; two step-daughters, Shannon and Shelly, Minnesota; two brothers, Duane (Judy) Klostreich, Cleveland, ND and Edwin Owen (Dixie) Klostreich, West Yellowstone, MT; and five step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Medina, ND.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Burial: St. Mary’s Cemetery, Medina, ND.
