Veronica McIntyre, 74, Jamestown, ND died on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.

Veronica Mae McIntyre was born August 31, 1936 at Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Darwin and Eleanor (Naze) McIntyre. She was raised and attended school in Jamestown graduating from St. John's Academy High School in 1954. Veronica was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. as a Telephone Operator for many years, retiring in 1981. She then worked part time as a Customer Service Representative for County Market in Jamestown.

Veronica was a member of The Basilica Of St. James, St. James Tabernacle Society and was active in delivering Meals-On-Wheels.

Survivors include her niece, Teresa (Gary) Housh, West Fargo, ND; 2 nephews, Steve (Connie) Lerew, Hunter, ND and Tom Lerew, San Diego, CA, and a great niece, Kelsey Michelle Lerew and a great nephew, Brandon Lerew, both Hunter, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Darlene Lerew.

Funeral Service: 10:30a.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:30p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation: 1:00p.m. to 7:30p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND later in the spring.
