Veryle Irene Sinclair, 82, of Jefferson City, Missouri, formerly of Jamestown, North Dakota died Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at the Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born August 3, 1921, in Bisbee, North Dakota, a daughter of George and Gladys Jennings Wood. She was a 1939 graduate of Bisbee High School in Bisbee, North Dakota. She was also a graduate of the Trinity Hospital School of Nursing in Jamestown, where she received her nursing degree in 1942. She was married May 1, 1946 in Jamestown to Malcolm Frank Sinclair, who preceded her in death.
She worked as a nurse in hospitals and a nursing home and was also a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and following the Minnesota Twins. She was a a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Jamestown, North Dakota.
Veryle is survived by two sons; Douglas Malcolm Sinclair of Gardner, North Dakota and Gregory Paul Sinclair of Williston, North Dakota; three daughters, Margaret Ann Welsh of Kingman, Arizona, Catherine Irene Lystad of Ambrose, North Dakota and Mary Ellen Barnett of Jefferson City, Missouri; three sisters, Ellen Gray, Grand Forks, ND, Dorothy Knauf, Oceanside, CA and Phyllis Roberts, Davis, CA; three brothers, George ""Bud"" Wood, Missoula, MT, James Wood, Sidney, MT and John Wood, Las Vegas, NV and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Friday, December 5, 2003 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Jamestown with Rev. Terri Akkerman officiating.
Visitation: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, December 4, 2003 at Eddy Funeral Home.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
