Violet Bohl, 77, Woodworth, North Dakota died Sunday, December 17, 2006 in Marysville, California.

Violet Zinke was born December 23, 1928 in McClusky, North Dakota the daughter of Frederick and Sarah (Hill) Zinke. She attended Woodworth High School and Valley City State College. Violet taught at rural schools for three years. On August 6, 1948 she married Jake Bohl of Woodworth. She was a homemaker, a wonderful mother and wife.

Violet's favorite pasttime was cooking, especially making granola and pies, gardening, reading, traveling and helping other people. She was a faithful servant, friend and companion and loyal to her beliefs. She held a great testimony of her faith. She will be deeply missed by all.

Violet is survived by her husband, Jake, of Woodworth; six children, James Bohl, Belle Fourche, SD, Duane Bohl, Woodworth, Dave (Wanda) Bohl, Jamestown, Cathie (Kevin) Greek, Apison, TN, Janie (Evan) Morris, Elk Grove, CA and Sarah Clark, Oroville, CA; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Irvin, Eugene and Alvin and two sisters, Margie and Myrtle.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Jamestown, with Pastor David Stuart officiating.

Visitation: 2:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: New Home Cemetery, Sykeston, North Dakota.
