Violette Beyer

Violette Beyer, 90, Montpelier, ND, died Monday, March 12, 2007 at St. Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND.
Violette Beyer was born January 25, 1917 at Rudyard, MT, the daughter of August and Anna (Backberg) Storberg. She lived and attended school in many places while growing up. On March 23, 1934, she married Ervin Beyer at Valley City, ND and they settled on a farm near Kindred, ND. In 1942, they purchased the Beyer family farm near Montpelier, ND. During the 1960's and 70's, Violette worked at the Jamestown Truck Stop. Ervin's died on June 12, 2003. Violette continued to live on the farm until entering St. Rose Care Center, LaMoure, ND on October 31, 2001.
She enjoyed gardening, and enjoyed her time working at the Truck Stop.
Survivors include 3 children: Vernon (Claudette) Beyer, Marion, ND; Gary (Charlotte) Beyer, National City, CA; Glenda (Harry) Scheuffele, Whitehall, MT; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and sister, Jeanette Magnuson, Glendale, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister, 2 brothers and an infant son.
Funeral - 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND with Brother Gary Beyer officiating
Visitation - 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 and 1 hour prior to services at Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND
Interment - Emmanuel Cemetery, Marion, ND
