Viona Morlock

Viona I. Morlock, 71, Pettibone, North Dakota died Friday, March 30, 2007 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.

Viona Stroh was born March 5, 1936, in Tappen, ND, the daughter of August J. and Olga (Silzle) Stroh. She was the oldest of four children. Viona grew up in Tappen and attended school in Tappen. She married Clifford Morlock on November 6, 1955, in Tappen. They lived at Robinson, ND, for six months and then lived with Clifford's parents, Adolph and Pauline Morlock, until January, 1959. Then they started a farm 2 1/2 miles south of Lake Williams where she was residing until the time of her death. Viona always had time to lend a helping hand or a listening ear and enjoyed visits with family and friends. She also enjoyed attending church, social functions, dancing, and watching NASCAR racing on television.

Viona is survived by her husband, Clifford, of rural Pettibone, ND; two daughters, Barbara (Robert) Hellman and Charlene (Michael) Henley, both of Lincoln, ND; one son, Donald Morlock, of rural Pettibone; sister, Delores Robinson and brother, Dennis Stroh, both of Mandan, ND; grandchildren, Sara Henley, of Bismarck, ND, Brian and his fiancée, Samantha Peterson, of Mandan, Kevin Henley, of Bismarck, and Angela Hellman and her fiancée, Sean Frey, of Glendive, MT; and a great grandson, Darrius Ricke, of Bismarck.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Leo Stroh.

Funeral Service: 11:00AM, Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Pettibone, ND, with Pastor Howard Lyons officiating.

Visitation: 1:00PM - 7:00PM, Monday, April 2, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00PM, Monday, April 2, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Burial: Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Pettibone, ND.
