Virginia A. Job

Virginia A. Job, 79, of Jamestown, ND, died Friday, August 17, 2007 at St. Alexis Medical Center, Bismarck, ND.

Virginia A. Bitz was born on June 27, 1928 in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of John and Katherine (Harr) Bitz. She attended and graduated from Cleveland High School, Cleveland, ND. Virginia taught high school in Cleveland and, later, in rural areas of southeast North Dakota.

Virginia married Rueben Job on April 1, 1949 in Herreid, SD. They made their home in Jamestown where she was a teacher's aide in the Jamestown Public School system for many years.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Jamestown and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Virginia is survived daughter, Patty (Nick) Wagner, Mercer, ND; son, Palmer (Diane) Job, Jamestown, ND; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren;

She is preceded in death by her husband; one son, Perry; parents; two sisters, Ethel Gallagher and Laura Gross; and one brother, Wilbur Bitz.

Funeral Service: 11:00AM, Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor David Stuart officiating.

Visitation: Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 1:00PM - 7:00PM at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00PM, Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
