Virginia ""Ginger"" Scharber, 59, Jamestown, North Dakota died Thursday, January 15, 2008 at her home. Virginia Sievers was born August 6, 1949 in Storm Lake, Iowa to Arlin and LaVonne (Otto) Sievers. She married Stan Scharber in 1972 in Storm Lake. The two moved to Jamestown in 1986. Ginger was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and a devoted ""General Hospital"" fan. Ginger and Stan also enjoyed camping in the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. She is survived by her husband Stan, Jamestown; one son, David (Barb) Scharber, East Bethel, MN; one daughter, Kristin (Trevor) Bulger, Washougal, WA; four grandchildren, Jessica, Galen, Eathan and Gavin; her parents, LaVonne and Arlin; three sisters, Gail DeMann, Jan Sievers, and Pamela (Craig) Smith, all of Storm Lake, IA; one brother, Dan (Julie) Sievers, Storm Lake, IA. She was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy.
