Wallace Pfaff

Wallace ""Wally"" Pfaff, 81, of Jamestown, ND, died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.

Mr. Pfaff was born March 15, 1925 in Paris Township, near Cleveland, ND, the son of Reinhart and Emma (Bauer) Pfaff. He attended school in Paris Township. Wally entered the US Army in March of 1945 and was stationed in Okinawa during WWII. He was discharged in September of 1946 and returned to North Dakota. On September 19, 1947 Wally married Lois White. Wally worked for area farmers until his employement at Midwest Motors, Jamestown, from 1947 to 1983. Later, he worked for the Stutsman County Park Board from 1984 to 2001.

Wally was a member of the Eagle's club for 62 years, Elk's, V.F.W., and All Vet's clubs in Jamestown.

Walley is survived by two daughters, Deb (Laverne) Klosterman-Klose, Jamestown and Vickie Pfaff, Bismarck; one son, Doug (Pamela) Pfaff, Bismarck; four grandchildren, Tenille Klosterman (Matthew Larson), Milnor, ND, Nicole Sundby (Cory Guthmiller), Jamestown, Shane Pfaff, Bismarck, Rachel Pfaff, Bismarck; two great-granchildren, Jana Leean and Ahnalisa Guthmiller, Jamestown; two sisters, Betty Klundt, Medina and Arloa Brane, Glendive, MT; one brother, Lloyd (June) Pfaff, College Place, WA; one sister-in-law, Donna Pfaff, Bismarck; one brother-in-law, Walter Wolt, Bismarck and a special person in his life, Luella Huisenga.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Raymond and two sisters, Laurine Wolt and Phyllis Kapfer.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel in Jamestown with Rev. Rich Fitzer officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota.
