Wallace Skip Stebbins

Wallace Stebbins, 61, of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, February 17, 2007, at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.

Wallace C. Stebbins was born September 29, 1945, in Bowman, ND, the son of Victor and Virginia (Jensen) Stebbins. The family moved to Glendive, MT in 1956, then to Beulah, ND in 1957. Wallace graduated from high school and attained a C.N.A. certificate. He moved to Jamestown where he was employed by the North Dakota State Hospital for 17 years. Wallace married Shirley Ellis on June 11, 1982 in Aberdeen, SD. They made their home in Jamestown.

Wallace is survived by his wife, Shirley Stebbins, Jamestown; one daughter Sarah (Edward) Banos, Galesburg, IL; 4 grandchildren; three sisters, Cassie (Delmer) Voegele, Beulah, ND, Vicki (Ronnie) Cellmer, Sturgis, SD, and Kim (Tom) Martini, Sidney, MT; two brothers, Kelly Stebbins, St. Paul, MN and Bill (Kelly) Stebbins, Helena, MT; two sisters-in-law, Cheryl Newton and Deanna Ferrell, Bakersfield, CA; two brothers-in-law, Edward Ellis, Coventry, RI and Craig (Johanna) Ellis, Sulol, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Regina Jensen.

Funeral Service: 3:00PM, Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 1:00PM to 8:00PM, Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at the Eddy Funeral Home.
