Wanda Lea Rott

Wanda Lea Rott, 61, Jamestown, North Dakota died unexpectedly on November 15, 2005 in Kokomo, Indiana.

Wanda Martin was born January 2, 1944 in Williston, North Dakota the daughter of James and Ernestine (Scott) Martin. She graduated from Williston High School and NDSU in Fargo with a degree in Home Economics. She moved to Jamestown and worked for Ottertail Power Co. On November 25, 1967 Wanda married Lloyd Rott. She helped her husband in the farming operation.

Wanda was active in the youth hockey program serving as their president for 2 years. She was involved in facilitating the building of the Eagles arena for the youth of Jamestown. She also served on the ND Sports Hall of Fame commission.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jamestown.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Lloyd, Jamestown; three sons, Sam (Raquel) Rott of Faribault, MN, David (Lauran) Rott, Burnsville, MN and Alan Rott, Richfield, MN; four grandchildren; two brothers, Sanford (Jan) Martin, Dallas, TX and Paul (Barb) Martin, Oklahoma and one sister, Jan (Allen) Odenbach, Fargo, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Service: 10:30 AM, Monday, November 21, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church, Jamestown with Rev. Dick Boyd officiating.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Sunday, November 20, 2005 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.
