Wayne Gee

Wayne Gee, 66, Jamestown, North Dakota died Sunday, November 5, 2006 at his home.

Wayne Gee was born March 9, 1940 in Himrod, New York to Menzo and Laura (Cook) Gee. He attended Addison Central School in Osceola, PA. Wayne entered the US Marine Corps in 1957, serving during the Korean Conflict, where he attained the rank of Lance Corporal. He was honorably discharged in 1963 and upon his return to Osceola, PA he began to work for the police department. On June 18, 1960 Wayne married Shirley Graff in Knoxville, PA. Shirley was laid to rest in 1996. While living in Jamestown, Wayne also worked for Grenwich Mills and the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company. He moved to Devils Lake, North Dakota in 1989 and began working at Noodles by Leonard in Devils Lake. Wayne married Marlene Tompkins on December 12, 2003 in Jamestown. He was working at Dakota Pasta in Carrington at the time of his death.

Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing. He coached Little League Baseball and was involved in Special Olympics in Devils Lake, ND. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Pennsylvania.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Marlene of Jamestown; three sons: Charles (Debbie) Gee, Addison, NY, Darwin Gee, Rochester, NY and Tim (Lonna) Gee, Devils Lake, ND; three stepdaughters: Laurie (Blaine) Pahl, Susan (Daniel) Falk and DeeAnn (Frank) Schumacher, all of Jamestown; one stepson, Randy (Tina Otto) Tompkins, Jamestown; 3 granddaughters, Crystal, Renee, Felicia Gee of Addison, NY; 11 step-grandchildren; 8 step- greatgrandchildren; four brothers: Robert (Peg) Gee, Osceola, PA, Ronald (Mary) Gee, Penn Yan, NY, Gary (Joane) Gee and Kevin (Edna) Gee, both of Addison, NY; eight sisters: Marie Hibbard, Elizabeth (David) Drake, Rochester, NY, Shirley Kibbe, Dundee, NY, Joyce Cornell and Marcia (Richard) Gardner, both of Pann Yan, NY, Glenda Dutcher, Bath, NY, Carolyn (Larry) Button and Karen Walker, both of Addison, NY and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley Gee, parents, two sisters, Darlene Cornish and Wanda Saltzs and two brothers, Mark and Wilbur Gee.

Private family service to be held at a later date.
