Wesley James Hart

Wesley James Hart, 90, of Jamestown died Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Ave Maria in Jamestown.Wesley was born October 16, 1926 in Jamestown, North Dakota the son of Myron and Winnifred (Brown) Hart. He attended Jamestown public schools and graduated from Jamestown College. He entered the US Army in 1945 and was honorably discharge in 1946. He married Marilyn Truax on May 23, 1970 in Jamestown, she died in June of 2012.
Wesley was employed with the United States Postal service from 1969 until 1993. He was a member of the Nazarene church, Kiwanis club, VFW, and Jamestown Choralaires. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and word puzzles.
He is survived by two sisters, Ruth (Ken) Caye of Utah, Laura Lou Nette, of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, one brother (Douglas).
Funeral service; 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Good Shepherd Chapel Ave Maria Village, Jamestown, with Pastor Matt Zimmer officiating.
Visitation; One hour before service.
Burial; Highland Home Cemetery
