William L. Brash, 82 of Jamestown died Saturday, March 1, 2003 at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown.
William was born November 22, 1920 in Bristol, SD, the son of Earl and Jenny (Lamb) Brash. He received his education in Sargent Co. North Dakota, then the family moved to Jamestown in 1937. He and his father repaired buildings in the Jamestown area. He married Doris Cooper on April 6, 1944 in Aberdeen, SD. He later worked for Thompson Lumber Co., Northern Pacific Railroad, and Jamestown College, Jamestown.
He was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Chruch, Jamestown, and was active with the Jamestown Eagles.
William is survived by his wife, Doris; a daughter, Anna Mae (Chris) Schatz, Jamestown; a son, Clinton L. Brash, Allentown, PA; one granddaughter, two great granddaughters; sister, Mable Thompson, Oakes, ND; and one sister-in-law, Harriet Brash, Bismarck.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ben, Evert, Clarence, and Howard; and one grandchild.
