William "Scotty" Scott

“Scotty” (William Raymond) Scott, 83, passed away peacefully at Ave Maria Village on Monday, September 28, 2020. He was a jack of all trades, and he mastered so many in his amazing life. He served his country in the Navy from 1954-1956, where he fought in the Korean War. He was also an amazing Chef, Entertainer, Taxi Driver, husband, dad, grandpa, and friend.

He married Corrine Gruebele on September 15, 1984 in Pettibone, ND and they settled in Jamestown where they raised two kids who were their pride and joy in their 36 years of marriage.

Scotty loved to fish, have a good cup of coffee, spend time with his family, and would help anyone who needed it.

He is survived by his wife, Corrine Scott, brother, John (Cristina) Scott, son, Kendall (Amy) Scott, daughter, Terese (Jeff) Carter, grandkids; Jason, Brady, Cheyenne, and Joseph, nieces and nephews; so many who loved their uncle Scotty.

Scotty is preceded in death by his mother, Terese, mother and father in law; Violet and Ludwig, and so many loved ones who will be greeting him.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Friday, October 2, 2020 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown with Pastor Tom Eckstein officiating.

Burial: North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date.
