Zelma Wilson, 91, Jamestown, North Dakota died Friday, March 9, 2007 in Jamestown.

Zelma Wengel was born November 21, 1915 in Emmons County, near Hazelton, ND, the daughter of Alfred and Mabel (Jenkins) Wengel. She grew up and attended school in the Hazelton area. On April 19, 1939 Zelma married Glenn Wilson. She worked at the Jamestown Truck Stop for many years as a cook.

Zelma is survived by a daughter, Marjorie (John) Smith of Jamestown; a foster daughter, Gloria Dawson, Jamestown; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; one sister, Esther Fones, Perham, MN and two brothers, Paul Wengel, Cottage Grove, OR and Vernon Wengel, Minneapolis, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two daughters, Rita Steckler and Joyce Dailey; three brothers and three sisters.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Rev. John Syvertson officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
