Lucille N. Kleve, 93, Jamestown, North Dakota, formerly of Robinson, ND died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at her daughter's home in Jamestown.
Lucille Legler was born June 19, 1913 in Freemont, Nebraska, the daughter of Adam and Paula (Ouren) Legler. She attended school in Robinson, ND and graduated in 1931 from Robinson High School. On February 15, 1934 Lucille married Clifford Kleve in Steele, ND. They farmed south of Robinson from 1944 until their retirement in 1978. During retirement they enjoyed spending their summers in the Devils Lake area.
Lucille's hobbies included gardening and crocheting, in which she crocheted afghans for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Robinson.
Lucille is survived by two daughters, Janet (Ron) Brackenbury, Steele and Betty Lou Wolf, Jamestown; three grandchildren, Teri Brackenbury (Bill Leier), Wayne (Clarissa) Brackenbury and Alan Brackenbury (Tracey Clooten), and four great-grandchildren, Shania, Connor, Calli and Zach.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers and a son-in-law, Harvey Wolf.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, January 8, 2007 at the United Methodist Church, Robinson with Rev. Perry Schnabel officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Eddy Funeral Home in Jamestown.
Burial: Bethany Lutheran Cemetery, Robinson, North Dakota.
