Steven L. Clark

Steven L. Clark, 39, Jamestown, North Dakota, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 as a result of an accident near Max, ND.

Steve was born March 9, 1969 in Medina, ND, the oldest child and only son of Dellwyn and Carol (Guthmiller) Clark. Steve lived in Pettibone until he was 12 years old, and then the family moved to Jamestown, where he graduated from Jamestown High School in 1987. He furthered his education at Jamestown College. Steve delivered overnight freight for 17 years and most recently was working for Vining Oil & Gas, Co. In 1990 Steve married Sondra Graves and they had three children together. Steve married Doreen Johnson in 2003.

Steve was always a happy guy and enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and doing carpentry work. He loved spending time with his family and was the best dad and husband.

Steve is survived by his wife, Doreen, Jamestown; three children, Cole, Logan and Mackenzie Clark, Jamestown; two stepchildren, Joshua Johnson & Arielle Johnson, both of Jamestown; parents, Dellwyn and Carol Clark, Jamestown; two sisters, Wendy (Lonny) Jacobson, Barnesville, MN and Deana (Shawn) Clark, Fargo, ND; his maternal grandmother, Bertha Guthmiller, Pettibone, ND; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Adam Guthmiller and his paternal grandparents, Ellwyn and Delia Clark.

Memorial Service: 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Leon Zavadil officiating.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota.
