Kevin Babcock, 63, of West Fargo, ND, formerly Ypsilanti, ND, passed away Wednesday morning, September 23, 2020 at Sanford on Broadway, Fargo, ND.
Kevin was born June 1, 1957, in Jamestown, ND, the son of John Jaff and Arlys Wittmer. He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1975 and then entered the US Navy. Kevin was honorably discharged in 1979 and returned to Jamestown where he worked at Red Owl. Later he was self-employed with Midwestern Drywall for many years. Kevin was united in marriage to Mary Radtke on October 7, 1989. He enjoyed racing, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren, especially giving them rides on ATVs.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Mary Babcock; son, Jason (Laura) Babcock; son, Levi (Kathy Casper) Babcock; daughter, Heather Lund; son, Tyson Babcock; son, Colby Babcock; son, Cal (Amanda Clemens) Babcock; six grandchildren, Cole, Jordan, Blair, Noah, Dalton, and Lydia; and sister, Kim Gearhart.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and half-brother, Tom Jaff.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown.
Visitation: One hour before the funeral at the church.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown.
